It’s enough to search and browse about niche marketing. I read
it in two version in English and in my native language; Indonesian. It’s needed
to be explained to the beginner like me. Since the first time I read NICHE, I wonder
what niche really is.
According to Wikipedia is the subset of the market on which a specific product focusing; therefore the
market niche defines the specific product features aimed at satisfying specific
market needs, as well as the price range, production quality and the
demographics that is intended to impact.
Meanwhile from another sources, niche
is a keyword which is focusing on the exact subject; in Indonesian we call
CERUK or niche is the opposite of mass marketing. As an example we type the word
of baby, English on search engine (Google, Bing or Yahoo), the word of baby and
English is a topic in general.
In the search engine we would find many choices of
keyword in general topic, as in the first example when we type the word of baby
it would appear baby sister, baby names, baby center etc or English grammar,
English Translation etc in more specific those are niche
There are still two niches I would
like to explain in the next posting. What I would like to suggest is just keep
reading and studying.
